Agents have praised staff at the Mark Warner following the operator’s fam trip to the resort where Madeleine McCann disappeared from in May.
The company took 30 agents to Ocean Club in Praia da Luz earlier this week in a bid to show the trade how the Portuguese holiday destination is coping following the high-profile case.
Cheshire-based Your Travel Abroad managing director Martin Carver said: “I have no concerns about Mark Warner after going there. What happened was a horrendous situation that could happen anywhere in the world.
Basingstoke Chandelle Travel director Edward Waite-Roberts agreed. He said: “I have no worries in selling it. It is a lovely, peaceful place and I was interested to talk to families on holiday there.
“The childcare facilities are immaculate and the accommodation was first class.”
