Travel Weekly Cruise Club member Andrew Winstanley has been elected onto the Association of Cruise Experts steering committee.
Winstanley, a director at Hove-based agency Americas4u, made the move into the cruise market at the start of this year. Travel Weekly has been following Americas4u, along with three other agencies, to track their progress on breaking into the sector.
Winstanley and Creative Cruises owner Jason Peters were both elected by other agents onto the committee for the next 12 months to work with training and support organisation ACE and the cruise lines.
Winstanley said: “I am delighted to have been elected to represent fellow agents on the ACE steering Committee and I look forward to working with Jason Peters, ACE business development director Andy Harmer and the rest of the members.
“So far, it’s been a whirlwind of a year as a “new-to-cruise agent” but it just goes to prove what you can achieve if you get out there and go for it.”
