MSC Cruises creates luxury services on new fleet

MSC Cruises is creating a VIP area and 24-hour butler service for two ships set to join its fleet in 2008 and 2009.

The Italian operator is planning on offering the luxury product for customers on board the 3,900-passenger ships MSC Fantasia and MSC Splendida which will include 99 suites and designated bar, solarium, whirlpool and an observation deck.

A butler will be provided for every five suites and gives assistance with anything from unpacking luggage to organising day excursions, restaurant reservations and spa treatments.

MSC Fantasia joins the cruiseline in November 2008 and MSC Splendida comes on board in Spring 2009.
