Travel technology specialist Vertical Group has brought out a new version of its TARSC back-office system.
Improvements to version eight of the system include the functionality to customise documents and letters into an individual agency style and add logos. Agents can also generate e-mails within TARSC and send out receipts and confirmations in PDF format.
A number of fields, including date of birth, e-mail address and passengers per booking, have been added, while an improved reporting facility means agents are able to generate reports automatically on an hourly, daily, monthly or yearly basis.
According to Vertical Group chief executive Peter Healey, TARSC version 8.0 is easy to integrate with Vertical Group’s reservation systems. He said it enables “the smooth flow of bookings and passenger information from the front-office reservation system to back-office accounting systems”.
He added: “All of these latest developments make life easier for the agent. They need to be able to access and use information quickly and efficiently and TARSC offers them the functionality to do that.”
