Travel Weekly has teamed up with Norwegian cruise operator Hurtigruten to offer agents the chance to win £2,500 to spend on creating their own marketing idea themed around the Northern Lights.

The aim is for agents to build interest in Arctic Norway and increase commission by maximising sales of Hurtigruten’s Northern Lights product.

Hurtigruten managing director Iain Cottam said: “Seeing the Northern Lights is high up on customers‘ holiday wish lists. We want agents to put their thinking caps on about how they can creatively attractcustomers into their shops.”

The winner will also have the chance to join a Northern Lights voyage. Entrants should demonstrate how they would use £2,500 to get the best sales from Northern Lights product, including a brief plan, with costs and implementation dates.
