Jersey European Airways has applied to serve Leeds/Bradford Airport from Guernsey. Flights start next summer if the Guernsey Transport Board agree to JEA’s request.
n tyrolean airlines launches pristina flights
Tyrolean Airways has launched five weekly flights to Kosovan capital Pristina from Vienna. UK passengers are offered convenient connections from Heathrow to the Austrian capital with Tyrolean’s partner Austrian Airlines. The flight avoids Serbian and Montenegran airspace following a European Commission ban on flying over the two Yugoslavian states.
n exeter and tappers travel to offer spain flycruise
Exeter Airport has teamed up with Tappers Travel to offer a flycruise to Spain from September 24 2000. The five-night cruise leaves from Southampton on P&O’s Arcadia to call at Cadiz and Barcelona. Passengers fly back to Exeter on Concorde. Prices lead in at £1,320 per person.
