Kieran Farragher has quit Virgin Holidays after seven years at the tour operator.
It is not yet known whether the general manager for trade and retail sales has another job to go to. The tour operator would not comment on the reason for Farragher’s departure.
Virgin Holidays’ sales and operations director Stewart Baird, who worked with Farragher for three years, said: “It is with some sadness that I confirm Kieran Farragher has decided to leave
Virgin Holidays for pastures new. I am disappointed to be losing him from my team and I wish him well in his new ventures.”
Farragher was promoted to general manager in 2004 after an internal restructure, which involved separating the marketing and sales divisions to allow more focus on each area and prompted the departure of former sales and marketing director Kathryn Beadle after 10 years with the company.
The shake-up brought trade and direct sales as well as operations under Baird’s remit.
