Meet-and-greet parking specialist Meteor plans to expand across the UK just months after launching.
Sales and marketing director Steve Waller said the company is in talks with at least four airports. It currently offers meet-and-greet parking at Heathrow, Gatwick, Birmingham and Manchester.
“Demand for meet-and-greet services is increasing among leisure travellers as they realise it doesn’t cost much more for a better and more convenient service,” he said.
Meteor Meet and Greet was created this year when Meteor Parking acquired meet-and-greet companies CPS and PAS.
Waller, who worked for Purple Parking, which also offers airport meet-and-greet services, joined Meteor in July and is keen to raise its trade profile.
“We want agents to help expand the business. We are planning trade advertising to raise awareness and will be talking to agents about setting up leisure deals. We will be paying between 15% and 20% commission depending on the deal, so we are being aggressive.”
