Thomson Cruises has opened its new Aldo Zilli restaurant on board Thomson Celebration and says it could roll them out across its fleet.
TUI Travel director of cruising David Selby said the operator would see how the new 40-seater restaurant takes off before before any decision to open new sites. It is believed the option of adding Zilli restaurants to Thomson hotels is also being considered.
Last year celebrity chef Zilli was enlisted to develop in-flight meals on Thomsonfly services.
The restaurant – Zilli – opened on October 18, a day earlier than scheduled allowing customers on a Palma cruise to try it out on the final night of their holiday.
