n majority have yet to plan for millennium



Almost six out of 10 people have still not made plans for the millennium, according to a survey by Bridge Travel. Of the 41% who have made plans, just over half are staying at home, it revealed.Italy was top as the destination most people would like to visit in 2000 with 23% of the votes.



n tappers offers concorde fly-cruise



Exeter Airport and southwest-based miniple Tappers Travel has put together an exclusiveflycruise departing Southampton on September 24 next year and returning on Concorde from Barcelona on September 29.



n warner teams up with sterling travel



Warner Holidays is teaming up with Sterling Travel to offer European Riverboat cruises for 2000. Four itineraries have been put together with departures in March, April, September and November.



n club med offers half-price in florida



Club Med has cut 50% off the price of a second person holidaying at its Sandpiper resort in Florida on departures between November 28 and January 23. The offer is valid for bookings made until November 30. Prices for two adults lead in at £735, all-inclusive.



n crystal issues premier italy for 2000



Crystal has issued its 2000 Premier Italy brochure offering two weeks for the price of one, free car hire, savings of up to £200 per child and free internal flights. Product includes country houses, historic hotels, and holidays combining cultural events.

British Airways Holidays has launched its 2000 weddings brochure featuring 20 destinations.
