BESTRAVEL OPENS FOR NORTH KOREAN BUSINESS
A travel agency specialising in North Korea has opened in Stockport. BESTravel managing director Nicky Xu said it will build on promises by the North Korean government to open its doors to tourists. “North Korea has been isolated in recent years but is now undergoing major change,” said Xu.
JOHN OWEN TRAVEL WINS CANADA AWARD AGAIN
Swindon-based John Owen Travel won the best retail travel agency category at the Canada Travel Awards for the second successive year. The agency, which has been a Canada specialist for six years, beat off three other finalists to keep hold of the award.
