Singles specialist Friendship Travel is celebrating its 10th anniversary with the launch of an enlarged programme.
Managing director Colum McLornan said two new hotels have been added to the house party programme where small hotels are booked exclusively for the operator’s use. The properties in Rhodes and Portugal mean the specialist operator has five hotels on offer.
“The popularity of our house parties continues to increase. A recent client survey indicated that having sole use of a property is a major factor of their appeal,” he said.
“Each hotel is carefully vetted for its suitability, with size – nothing huge and impersonal – and location being key factors. Most house party hotels are family owned and run and offer a personal service, which is a winner with our guests.”
The long-haul programme also includes five properties with the reintroduction of La Source in Grenada, which has finally been repaired after suffering badly when Hurricane Ivan hit the island in 2004.
New city-break options have also been included in Nice, Berlin and Milan, with prices leading in at £278 per person for two nights’ bed-and-breakfast accommodation at the Ibis Milano Centro including transfers and flights from Gatwick.
