Lloyd’s List has reported the Explorer MV had five deficiencies at its last inspection.
According to the maritime specialist the ship was missing search and rescue plansand lifeboat maintenance problems. Watertight doors were described as “not as required” and fire safety measure were criticised, according to the report.
