Accommodation provider somewhere2stay.com has added interactive maps to its core destinations to help agents see the exact locations of hotels more clearly.
The maps show the location of hotels, villas or apartments in relation to the resort centre, amenities and facilities. Agents can view details and pictures of each property and email this to clients if required.
The tool is available on 29 destinations, including Spain, the Canaries, the Algarve and Italy.
Somewhere2stay.com general manager Kevin Currie said: “Agents will be able to show if the villa is on the edge of a golf course or if a hotel is within walking distance of the resort’s nightlife. It is often difficult for agents to find out the exact location of a private villa if in a rural location – now they can show the client on screen where it is.”
The addition of the mapping service, which uses MSN mapping technology, follows the relaunch of the somewhere2stay.com website in early November.
