World class chef Nobuyuki “Nobu” Matsuhisa is partnering with Crystal Cruises for two new restaurants aboard the luxury ship, Crystal Symphony.
The restaurants, Silk Road and The Sushi Bar will be launched on Symphony on March 3 2008 on the cruise from Los Angeles to Hong Kong.
Nobu, who is renowned for his Japanese cuisine, will also be on board to ovesee the launch.
Occupying the former Jade Garden space on the ship, the restaurants will accommodate a total of 68 guests and will be open most evenings and there is no additional charge for dining.
Crystal Cruises vice president of food and beverage operations Toni Neumeister said: “To dine at one of Nobu’s restaurants is a treat in itself, and we look forward to presenting our savvy clientele with yet another new dimension of choice and superior quality aboard Crystal Symphony.”
