A free pocket-sized guide has been launched to help businesses in the tourism sector to go green.
The free pocket-sized guide, particularly aimed at smaller enterprises such as B&Bs and self-catering property owners, covers a range of practical advice, including how to promote green credentials, energy saving tips, how to find local suppliers and encouraging customers to act sustainably.
The Guide to Sustainable Tourism for Dummies is available to businesses from January 22 in hard copy or internet download formats, and is funded by Tourism South East, South West Tourism and West Sussex County Council.
Tourism South East managing director Bob Collier said, “By investing to produce this valuable guide as a free-of-charge resource for tourism businesses in the region, we hope to accelerate the adoption of good sustainable practices.”
