Western Australia will have a new northern gateway next year, when a weekly air service links Broome with Bali in Indonesia. Ansett Australia will operate an initial Wednesday return flight from March 29. From Bali, it will offer visitors a link into the Cable Beach area and the Kimberley region for touring the western outback and its national parks.
WTM visitors to the Western Australia stand will be able to get details on two new four-star hotels which have just opened in the capital of Perth, The Chifley and The Sanctuary.
Broome’s five-star Cable Beach Inter-Continental is offering special rates with added-value benefits until March 31 2000. Prices per room per night start at around £64 for two people including transfers, all gym use, beach facilities, and local tour discounts.
