Thomas Cook appoints property consultant

Thomas Cook has appointed King Sturge to provide lease consultancy and agency advice for its UK portfolio.

King Sturge will also provide property management and  building consultancy services for the company. The consultant was successful following a re-tendering process by Thomas Cook UK in December.

King Sturge partner Tom Keys-Toyer said: “We are well acquainted with the business, having recently acquired the Leslie Furness business, which has advised Thomas Cook for the past nine years.”

Thomas Cook head of estates Andrew Potter said: “We believe King Sturge offers the right balance of expertise and coverage to assist us with the efficient management of our property estate.”

Thomas Cook operates 812 retail units including 120 bureaux de change in the UK and Ireland.
