Royal Caribbean Cruise Line launches 2009 cruise campaign

Royal Caribbean Cruise Line has launched a campaign to sell 2009 cruises.

The cruise line’s Travel Advisory Panel, which includes agents, has advised the cruise firm that more notice of when future seasons first go on sale would help boost early booking sales performance.

Agents can book 2009 Royal Caribbean International holidays from 18th March while, sister companies Azamara Cruises and Celebrity Cruises can be booked from March 19th and 20th respectively.

The campaign, focusing on the new European and the Mediterranean preview brochures for the Royal Caribbean International and Celebrity Cruises brands, includes booking incentives of up to £400 saving per stateroom booked before 31st May 2008.

This is the first time that Royal Caribbean Cruise Line has made this significant investment in order to give agents an extensive bank of selling tools to maximise early bookings, the cruiseline said.

Meanwhile, Royal Caribbean is building up to the launch of the world’s largest cruise ship, Independence of the Seas, with the launch of a dedicated website at www.royalcaribbean.co.uk/independence.

The site will allow agents to show customers video footage of surfing the artificial wave, as well as rock climbing sessions and a glimpse at the fun to be enjoyed in the onboard H20 waterpark.
