Celebrity Cruises launches first stand-alone Europe brochure

Celebrity Cruises has launched its first stand-alone Europe brochure for 2009 with early booking savings of up to £400.

The cruiseline’s biggest European deployment for 2009 includes new Solstice-class ships Celebrity Solstice, launching in December 2008, and Celebrity Equinox, launching in August 2009.

The brochure features new ports of call such as Portofino, Italy; Antwerp, Belgium; La Coruna, Spain; Ashdod, Israel and Alexandria, Egypt.

Celebrity Century is introducing a seven-night western Mediterranean cruise, while Celebrity Summit has a one-off 10-night western Med cruise.

Early booking offers of up to £400 off per stateroom are available for bookings made before May 31 on 14-night cruises, with up to £200 off seven to 13-night cruises.

The cruiseline is promoting its 2008 and 2009 itineraries almost exclusively through the trade with a field sales team dedicated to Celebrity and Azamara Cruises for the first time.

The trade campaign includes the recently launched Celebrity Stars programme, which gives select agents access to exclusive marketing support and incentives. Consumer marketing will target loyal customers and direct them to Celebrity Cruises specialist agents.

Head of field sales Michael English said: “Celebrity Cruises will be working with trade partners to increase awareness of its style and holiday experience over the next 12 months.”
