Wow Air is to maintain a low-fare route from Bristol to Iceland this summer due to demand.
The service was originally planned to cease on March 24, but the budget the airline will recommence flights on June 14 with new aircraft.
Bristol flights connect with transatlantic services to the US and Canada via Reykjavik.
Flights from June 14 to October 27 will run three times a week from Bristol with fares starting at £37.99 one-way and £139.99 to US and Canadian east coast destinations and £149.99 to Los Angeles and San Francisco.
The airline’s founder and chief executive, Skúli Mogensen, said: “We’re very happy to announce that we will be continuing to bring super low air fares to those in south west England and Wales this summer.
“We look forward to working closely with Bristol airport to drive future expansion, as it continues to raise its international profile.”
