Teleticket launches new email facility for agents

Flight consolidator Teleticket has launched a new email ticketing system to help provide a quicker service to agents.

Teleticket is now able process a mixture of low cost and charter flights on one booking. For example, a Jet2.com flight from Manchester to Tenerife and a return on Futura would be issued on one contract and ticket.

Managing director Neil Chapman said: “This new feature makes travel more passenger-friendly, with a  reduction in unnecessary paperwork and waiting times/costs for post, increasing overall efficiencies at lower operational costs.”

This service has eliminated the need for ticket on departure on new bookings as the tickets can now be emailed, said the company, saving the customer time at the airport.

Broadway Travel has started using the new facility. Sales manager Phil Turner said: “We are now able to offer an even higher level of service as we can send out the flght tickets to our clients within a matter of minutes.”

The tickets are in printer friendly format for agents who do not have Internet access.
