The Queen is set to make a farewell visit to the Queen Elizabeth 2 on Monday June 2.
The ship, which has been the flagship of the Cunard fleet for 35 years was launched by Her Majesty at Clydebank on 20 September 1967. The QE2 leaves Cunard in November 2008.
Cunard president and managin director Carol Marlow said: “We are delighted and honoured that The Queen has chosen to visit QE2 to wish her farewell. Her majesty has taken a close interest in the ship over the last 40 years, and I am certain this will be a memorable occasion for all involved.”
