Superbreak to offer car parking at UK airports

Superbreak is offering airport parking options at eight UK airports for the first time through its airport add-ons programme.

Ancillaries are becoming increasingly important to agents selling Superbreak: sales of the overall programme, through agents, are up 18% year on year, in the six months from October 2007 – March 2008, or around 150,000 customers.

Superbreak is distributing wallet-size leaflets to help agents promote all its airport ancillaries including hotels, car parking, lounges and rail travel only.

Gatwick, Heathrow, Birmingham, Manchester, Liverpool, Glasgow, Edinburgh and Prestwick have secure car parks included in the scheme. Superbreak said it would add more UK airports together with meet and greet services soon.

To help agents earn more from these ancillary sales, commission will be paid on all airport parking bookings. Prices lead in at £2.90 per day at Glasgow Airport.
