A twice-weekly air link between Doncaster Sheffield airport and Palma is to be introduced by Flybe this summer.
The summer-only flights are due to start on July 7 with one-way fares on sale at a lead-in of £39.99.
The service will run on Mondays and Fridays until October 2.
Flybe chief revenue officer, Vincent Hodder, said: “Flights are scheduled to give customers flexibility and the choice of either a long weekend or a full week away so Yorkshire-based sun seekers can be as flexible as possible with their holiday plans.”
The airport’s head of aviation development, Chris Harcombe, added: “We’ve listened to feedback asking for more low cost flights to popular holiday spots and we’re pleased to deliver this route with Flybe.
“Flybe is offering a range of great sun destinations with us, with a really good schedule at great prices, so to add even more is a real boost for the region.”
