The Triton Travel Group has introduced its new ATOL for Advantage, Worldchoice and Independent Options members at a cost of £18 per booking.
The ATOL scheme has already been available to Global Travel Group members for four years and allows members to put together their own packages using Triton’s own products and any ATOL bonded charter or no frills airline. Agents will now be able to advertise their own fully protected dynamic packages.
Members must report every dynamic package booking to Triton using a special administration system, which prompts the user to enter the passenger details, flight and accommodation details and cost. It then prints an ATOL receipt for the customer and the agency records.
It provides general customer protection, contingency cover, public and product liability insurance, air failure insurance and accommodation provider failure. It includes the new £1 ATOL Protection Contribution.
Global Travel Group product development director Jason Edwards said: “This is simple, safe and workable.”
