Fred River Cruises has appointed Emma Moody as its new sales executive.
Moody previously worked as a sales support executive for Star Clippers and prior to this worked as a customer service ambassador at Stansted airport.
She will report into UK sales manager Brooke Daniels and will work closely with trade partners as the line continues as the general sales agent for Amadeus River Cruises.
Daniels said: “The appointment of Emma means that we can focus on providing agents with product knowledge for Amadeus River Cruises as well as other not-so-familiar areas for river cruising which include India and Russia”.
Moody began the role in February and said: “I am looking forward to meeting agents, providing training and supporting events to grow their river cruising business.
“ It is certainly an exciting time to be involved in the river cruise industry, especially with Fred River Cruises being appointed GSA for Amadeus who have over 40 years of river cruise experience”.
Natalie O’Mahoney returned from maternity leave at the start of 2017 as key account manager and the reservations team has a new addition of Abigail Barker who has joined from Fred Olsen Cruise Lines.
Daniels said “With the expansion of both the sales and reservations teams, it is an exciting time ahead for our river department.”
