P&O Stena Line has introduced on-line bookings to its newly revamped Internet site. Previously the site included a telephone number and asked customers to call if they wished to book. The new site also features sailing times, details of on-board services and destination information about France. The address is www.posl.com.
n orient lines continues stage play entertainment
Orient Lines has booked the Ray Cooney Comedy Company to perform the classic farces Run For Your Wife and Funny Money on its sailings to South Africa, South America and Antarctica this autumn. The move follows the successful staging of the plays during a themed theatre cruise on Orient’s ship Marco Polo last April. A further series of plays is planned for 2000.
n airtours reduces sundream price by 40%
Airtours has slashed 40% off the price of a 14-night Caribbean cruise and stay holiday departing December 12. The holiday now starts at £859, compared to the brochure price of £1,469. Sundream will call at ports including Cancun, Havana and Grand Cayman. The voyage will be followed by a week’s stay at the Sunset Beach Resort in Montego Bay.
