Disneyland Paris megafam agent diaries: Paul Ingman, Thomas Cook

On April 6 – 8 2008 Paul Ingman of Thomas Cook joined a megafam trip to Disneyland Resort Paris, which consisted of 2,000 Travel Agents, including 300 from the UK

Well I’ve been back a month now, and it’s been busy, but I can still take myself back to the Magic that was the 2008 Mega Fam.

My first trip on Eurostar and my first visit to Disneyland Resort Paris. Eurostar impressed with fast check in and the speedy 2hr 34 min journey directly into the parks flew by.

Disney know what their best assets are and they know how to show them off. Free time! Time to just go out and enjoy the parks. We did! I was impressed by the sheer number of big thrill rides and the ‘Magic’ and charm of the characters and shows. ‘Tower of Terror’ and ‘Crush’s Coaster’ had me screaming with excitement and chanting “again, again” like a child.

An evening of exclusive agents only access to the Studios park ending and we nearly missed the ‘Cars Race Rally’ my new best friends and I  begged for one last ride and were thrilled to get two goes in a row.

Personal knowledge sells, and I have returned convinced that Disneyland Resort Paris is a guaranteed good time for kids of any age. The bars and nightlife would suit couples and singles interested in a break away, any family would have a great time and it’s an all weather destination.
