Norwegian Cruise Line is to significantly increase the number of fam spaces and opportunities for agents to see its product following early feedback from its Partnership 2.0 survey.
The cruiseline will double fam spaces on its July mini-cruise from Dover to Amsterdam from 50 to 100 and is inviting more agents to visit its ships at ports around the UK.
NCL has 3,000 potential spaces for agents to visit ships in Dover or Southampton as well as in ports in Ireland and Scotland during Norwegian Jade’s round Britain cruise in July.
NCL UK general manager Stephen Park said the cruiseline would soon announce further changes after more detailed analysis of the survey , which went out to 2,345 trade partners during April.
But initial feedback showed the cruiseline could do a better job of allowing agents to sample its product. “One of the early things we discovered was that people liked our product but don’t know enough about it and we do not do enough ship visits,” he said.
Agents can register to visit NCL ships by emailing shipvisit@ncl.com.
