Swan Hellenic has finally made its inaugural voyage from the UK, eight days later than planned.
The ship had been due to sail out of Dover on May 23 on a Norwegian Fjords cruise but the trip was cancelled after engine problems forced it into port in Hamburg last month for repairs.
Customers due to sail were be offered full refunds and a discount on a future cruise of their choice.
However, on Saturday the boat departed from Dover on The Cities of the Baltic tour.
Roger Allard, chairman of All Leisure, which owns the cruiseline, said: “We’re pleased the ship’s sailing as it was very frustrating to cancel the first cruise.”
