Siam Park, Tenerife

Tenerife is getting a new water park this summer. Siam Park will have 14 water attractions, including the gravity-defying Dragon, the Tower of Power and the plunging raft ride of the Mekong Rapids.

Younger children will enjoy the adventure world of the Lost City and the sea lions at the aquarium, while adults can hit the five bars and restaurants.

PortAventura PortAventura, Spain

PortAventura has reopened its Caribbean-themed water park, Caribe Aquatic Park, offering UK customers a 50% discount for the rest of the year. The park is also building up a reputation as a business resort, with the addition of four golf courses and a convention centre.

Disneyland Resort Paris

Not only does 2008 see the launch of the thrill seekers’ Twilight Zone Tower of Terror ride but Leger’s new Disneyland Resort Paris brochure offers room discounts for couples and entrance savings for grandparents.

There is also a year-round Kids Go Cheap deal which makes it easier for families to book a break even during the school holidays.
