Travel presenter Judith Chalmers has teamed up with the Royal Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain (RPSGB) to produce a video offering holiday health advice.
New research has revealed that as many as one in five Britons suffer from symptoms such as fever, vomiting and diarrhoea whilst on holiday each year, and 53% are affected by sunburn.
When it comes to cost of holiday health, it seems that British holidaymakers are, on average, only prepared to spend £21.42 on medical treatment.
The campaign encourages travellers to seek advice and supplies from their local pharmacist prior to departure, in order to lessen the risk of health mishaps.
