British Airways is among the sponsors of a new corporate travel show due to make its debut at London’s ExCel exhibition Centre next June.
The new Business Travel Market will be seen as a rival to the Business Travel Show staged annually in London in February, most recently at Earl’s Court. The market has been set up by former Business Travel Show event director Paul Robin.
Alongside BA, hotel group Accor Hospitality is also among the founding sponsors.
BA global corporate sales head Richar Tams said: “BA is delighted to one of the founding partners. I will be part of the advisory board assisting in developing the right content and ensuring the top buyers attend.”
Former HSBC head of business travel management Tony Pilcher will help to devise the event’s programme.
