ARTAC has appointed Chris Daffy from The Marketing Group as a non-executive director.
He will join the board in January and advise on customer service issues.
Daffy, who has worked on a consultancy basis for JMC, is well known to the travel industry, having made motivational speeches at numerous conferences.
ARTAC chairman Colin Heal said:”We are delighted to have Chris on board.
“He is a specialist on customer service which is a crucial area for independent agents.”
Daffy has already worked with individual agents, advising Bolton-based St Andrews Travel on providing added value for customers. Meanwhile, Heal has been appointed chairman of the Travel Tourism Services and Events National Training Association.
