FORMER director of sales and marketing at Universal Studios Jo Rzymowska has joined a new on-line travel company.
Rzymowska has been appointed commercial director responsible for product strategy and negotiating deals with suppliers at 21st Century Travel.
The company is a joint venture between Rapid Travel Solutions, which designed Going Places’ Matchmaker technology and its own Travel Trader system, and Ticket Travel Group – the leading retail travel agency group in Scandinavia.
Launching in the UK in the first quarter of 2000, an initial £4.5m is being invested in the pan-European site. New offices are being opened in central London.
Rzymowska said the site will also feature an integrated call centre.
