The seventh Tui Blue ‘lifestyle’ brand hotel opened at the weekend.
The 161-room Tui Blue Jadran is a revamp of what is considered to be the oldest hotel on the Adriatic coast of Croatia.
The property is located at the end of the promenade at Tučepi on the Makarska Riviera, a 90 minute transfer from Split airport.
Accommodation includes 12 junior suites and 11 swim-up suites offering direct access to a private pool.
Other features include an infinity pool, a Bluefit sparts park, three restaurants, three bars and the latest technology.
Further properties in the Tui Hotels & Resorts portfolio are to be converted into Tui Blue properties.
These include the Tui Blue Rocador in Majorca, Tui Blue Falesia in Portugal, Tui Blue Palm Beach Palace in Djerba, Tunisia and Tui Blue Marmaris in Turkey from next spring.
“Further repositionings are scheduled for the 2018/19 winter season and the 2019 summer season,” the operator said.
Tui Blue managing director Artur Gerber said: “I am delighted that we are now complementing the Tui Blue portfolio with a hotel in Croatia.
“Our local Blue Guides will provide insider tips enabling the guests to gain authentic holiday experiences in the region, and we are looking forward to receiving the feedback from our first guests.”
