Baggage handlers and check-in staff employed by Swissport have voted to strike over pay, following the lead of workers at Gatwick.
The dispute will mean that 500 of the workers at the two airports will strike on 25 and 29 August.
The strike at Gatwick will halt baggage handling and check-in operations at airlines including Virgin Atlantic, Monarch, Thomson Fly, First Choice, North West, Air Malta, Air Transat, Oman Air and come smaller airlines. At Stansted the strike will impact EasyJet, Ryanair, First Choice and Thomson.
