Trade-only bed bank Betabeds is to close down at the end of August after 18 months.
The brand was set up by consumer bedbank Alpharooms in April last year.
It sold more than 250,000 hotels in over 40,000 destinations and claimed to have access to “almost every accommodation rate available”.
The site was supported by a UK-based call centre in Sheffield.
All trade bookings will be honoured by Alpharooms, the company said.
A statement form the business said: “Following the purchase and takeover of Alpharooms last year by Truly Travel ltd. the decision has been taken to close down the B2B trade arm of the business known as Betabeds in order to focus on our direct b2c strategy.
“Any forward bookings with Betabeds will now be fulfilled by Alpharooms and bookings remain secure and unaffected.”
The company said there were no redundancies.
Alpharooms was sold to Teletext Holidays parent Truly Group in October 2016 for an undisclosed sum.
Alpharooms said it carries 850,000 passengers annually.
