LA COMPAGNIE des Iles due Ponant has replaced a 17-night Hudson Bay flycruise on Le Levant in September 2000 in favour of a St Lawrence and the Great Lakes itinerary.
The French cruiseline decided that Hudson Bay in Canada would be too cold at that time of year and replaced the original voyage with one that calls at destinations further south, according to the company’s UK general sales agent The Cruise Portfolio.
The new holiday departs London by air on September 8 and features stops at Montreal, Quebec, Niagara Falls and Toronto.
Prices start from £4,180 per person.
