Air Canada is raising frequency between Heathrow and Vancouver to twice-daily for summer 2018.
The airline is also introducing new routes to the Canadian west coast city from Paris and Zurich.
All flights will be available for purchase from September 6.
The expansion follows the introduction of a summer seasonal service to the Vancouver hub from Gatwick this summer.
Air Canada will fly non-stop from Vancouver to five European destinations next summer.
The airline’s passenger airlines president Benjamin Smith said:
“We continue to strategically broaden our international network from our Vancouver hub with the addition of two new, non-stop international services to Europe in 2018 and additional flights to London Heathrow.
“All new flights from Vancouver to Paris and Zurich will be operated with our state-of-the-art Boeing 787 Dreamliners.
“The operating economics of the Dreamliners together with the Vancouver Airport Authority’s efforts to maintain airport operating costs among the lowest in Canada have enabled us to expand our network here to connect our already extensive British Columbia, western Canada and US routes to even more international destinations, and position Vancouver as a preferred option to travel through.”
