Associate member profile: d-flo

Customer communications specialist d-flo has joined the Association of Touring and Adventure Suppliers as an associate member.

D-flo specialises in products which enable firms to enhance their customer engagement by improving and delivering compelling and personalised communications.

Its TravelComms platform is used by a number of Atas members, including Great Rail Journeys, Riviera Travel, Travelsphere and Just You, and the company intends to share insights with the wider membership on how it can “build a richer, deeper connection to the customer”.

Colin Brimson, co-founder and chief executive of d-flo, said: “Atas has been formed at just the right time to provide agents with the necessary insights and learnings to expand their knowledge and better serve customers.

“We know that when it comes to adventure travel, tailored and timely communications will give an agent a critical edge. A company that meets the high expectations customers have of these premium products will reap the rewards of loyalty and word-of-mouth recommendation.”

He added: “This growing market offers a fantastic opportunity and we want to help agents secure an ever-greater share by providing the advice and tools to deliver gold standard communications packages to their customers.”

Atas launched in April, with the aim of raising trade awareness and driving sales within the touring and adventure sector. The association currently has 25 core members, and will hold its inaugural conference in Birmingham in October.

D-flo has evolved rapidly since its launch in 2011, with year-on-year organic growth. The company launched CrisisComms, a solution that allows businesses to reach customers with essential advice, information and warnings in an emergency, in May.
