Celestyal Cruises has appointed Andrew Magowan as vice president commercial, Europe.
Magowan has 25 years’ experience in cruise, including as vice president Europe Middle East and Africa at Seabourn, and had senior sales and marketing roles at lines including NCL, Cunard Line, Swan Hellenic and SeaDream.
Most recently, he had run his marketing, PR and management consultancy firm Andrew Magowan & Associates.
Magowan will be responsible for commercial strategy and the development of Celestyal Cruises’ presence and sales distribution in the European region, with a specific focus on the UK market.
He has previously worked with cruise agents, tour operators and trade distribution partners. Magowan’s appointment is part of Celestyal’s ongoing strategy to grow its presence in the UK and Europe, strengthening the European sales network of the company.
