Nominations are now being accepted for the Shine Awards, which recognise individuals and companies which have shown their dedication to attracting new talent to the travel and tourism industry.
The new expanded categories include five individual and five company awards, incuding young achiever of the year and public sector woman of the year.
This year Shine has introduced a simplified application procedure which can be completed online at the Shine website.
Shine People and Places and sponsor American Express are also hosting a round table of industry figures who will look at solutions to the skills shortage in the industry. The discussion will take place at the Graduate Centre in the London Metropolitan University on November 26, before the award ceremony.
