has launched a dedicated cruise section on its site in anticipation of growing consumer demand.

The cruise section, which will be accessed via a dedicated tab on the home page, will feature easyCruise product and Nile cruises initially although it is hoped more suppliers will be signed up soon. sales and marketing director Paul Riches said: “Cruise is one of the fastest-growing areas of the UK travel industry and one which is still predominantly booked through the trade.

“We believe that by teaming up with, cruise lines are able to access different audiences and attract new cruisers.

“Likewise we are able to offer our agent partners the breadth of product they’ve come to expect from us.”

EasyCruise sales and marketing director UK and USA Paul Ellerby added: “Now that easyCruise is bookable through in the same way that Greece and Turkey hotels are booked, even agents who are new to cruise can start selling.

“In the first year of our partnership we have seen huge demand for cruises out of Bodrum in particular where agents can also add a resort stay in Turkey.”
