Luxury tailor-made tour operator Carrier is to move to a new head office in Manchester.
From December 4, staff will be based at One Didsbury Point after the company spent nine years based at No. 1 Lakeside, Cheadle.
The relocation fulfils Carrier’s “desire for a more collaborative and inspiring work environment”. The new office has no separate wings or floors between teams and a bespoke design that the firm says is “more in-keeping with the Carrier brand”.
The 8,500square foot space, with floor-to-ceiling windows, and new fixtures, furnishings and IT equipment, will accommodate 70 staff.
One Didsbury Point is located in Didsbury – an area of Manchester between the city centre and airport.
Carrier’s retail shop, Carrier Travel, will continue to operate from its current location in Alderley Edge, Cheshire.
Managing director Mark Duguid said: “The relocation to Didsbury is the culmination of an exciting year for Carrier and heralds further progression for the company. We’re looking forward to creating a new home which better reflects our incredible brand.
“From the outset, our staff will be participating via ongoing forums where they can share feedback, ideas and requirements for the new space, as it’s crucial that everyone feels involved in this move.”
