Great Rail Journeys is encouraging travel agents to promote specific Italy tours so customers can claim free tickets to forthcoming new movie Murder on the Orient Express.
The operator and sister brand Rail Discoveries have launched a consumer campaign following a tie-up with 20th Century Fox to promote the new film starring Penelope Cruz, Willem Dafoe, Judi Dench, Johnny Depp, Michelle Pfeiffer, Daisy Ridley and Josh Gad.
As part of the campaign, it is giving away free film tickets to customers on a first-come first-served basis for bookings of selected Italian trips made before October 31.
The film, out next month, is a remake of Agatha Christie’s classic tale featuring detective Hercule Poirot in a murder plot in which 13 strangers are stranded on a train, and all are a suspect.
To qualify to claim the free film tickets, agents’ clients need to book one of the following holidays with Great Rail Journeys: Top to Toe of Italy; Grand Tour of Italy; Moltrasio on Lake Como; The Venice Simplon-Orient-Express; All Inclusive Tuscan Villa; Rome, Sorrento and the Amalfi Coast.
Alternatively, clients should book Rail Discoveries’ Italian Explorer and Rome & Sorrento trips in the time period.
