LONDON City Airport has opened a £1m business centre which includes board rooms, training facilities and a conference suite.
Called the Meridian Business Centre, it is situated within the airport, which is six miles from the city of the London.
Facilities include 22 air-conditioned meeting rooms and a conference suite with capacity for up to 80 people. Users have access to audio visual and office facilities including secretarial support.
London City Airport commercial development manager Jane Goulton said the centre has been set up following demand from business travellers and people who work in the vicinity.
“The business centre has been set up to cater for both London’s business community and is equally convenient for travellers arriving from, or departing for, any of the destinations that London City Airport serves,” she said.
