GOLDENJOY has added the Indian Ocean to its 2000 programme as it targets growth of 25%.
Sri Lanka, Mauritius, the Seychelles and Maldives are all new as the operator aims for 40,000 passengers next year.
Dubai is offered as a short break for the first time; while in the Far East, Bali is added.
In response to the continued resurgence in Egypt, the operator has introduced Saturday charters into Luxor.
Commercial director Ronnie Findlay said the expected growth will largely come from the new features in the programme. He also urged agents to tap into the diving market even though their knowledge of the product may be minimal.
Launching its dedicated diving brochure for 2000, Findlay said: “A dive booking offers a significant level of commission. While an agency may not have the specialist knowledge to make a sale, we do and we can talk agents through it. Only 20% of our diving bookings come through the trade but we want that to rise to 50%.”
