1st4cruising.com has launched a website dedicated to river cruising.
The new site, 1st4rivercruising.com, offers more than 500 cruises on 23 rivers worldwide. This includes a choice of small, intimate vessels on less well known rivers such as the Volga-Baltic Waterway to larger ships on rivers such as the Danube, Rhine and Yangtze.
1st4cruising.com commercial director John Fair said: “River cruises have been steadily gaining in popularity over the past few years as people look for a good value, comfortable and eco-friendly means of seeing multiple countries in one trip.
“River cruise ships are able to get into small towns along the banks of the river, giving customers the chance to see the real culture of the ports of call. This is a very different type of cruising compared with ocean-based holidays.”
The company is a member of ABTA, and is fully bonded as a tour operator by the Civil Aviation Authority.
As a member of the Association of Cruise Experts, its customers will be among the first to hear about advance cruise offers, added Fair.
